Fogline Ridge Ranch, LLC was established by life partners Randy Chiotti and Beth Dobkin. Horses brought them together over 30 years ago, as Randy was growing his successful farrier business and Beth was spending summers riding, competing, and training horses. Together, they have experience handling and caring for horses of all ages and disciplines, from ponies and miniature horses to mules and draft horses.

In addition to being a master farrier in both San Diego and San Francisco, Randy has completed many 25 and 50-mile endurance races. Although he retired from horseshoeing in 2018, he is still sought after for his expertise in horse physiology and movement related to proper hoof shoeing, trimming, and care.

Beth has competed in dressage, show jumping, combined training, and endurance; ran a comprehensive horsemanship program for a residential summer camp; and has instructed students in both English and Western disciplines. Her experience includes facilitating executive leadership programs that leverage the sensitivity, beauty, and intelligence of horses to unlock compassionate leadership potential in people of all backgrounds and abilities.
